Cloud Security Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Expert to join our team.

About the Role:

Job Summary: The Cloud Security Expert will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, developing and enforcing cloud security policies, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring security logs.

  • Design and Implement Secure Cloud Architectures: Develop secure cloud infrastructure designs, implement security controls, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and Enforce Cloud Security Policies: Establish and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct Cloud Security Risk Assessments: Perform regular risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Monitor and Analyze Cloud Security Logs: Monitor and analyze security logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong Knowledge of Cloud Security: 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, strong knowledge of cloud security architectures, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Controls: Experience with cloud security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
  • Strong Understanding of Cloud Security Risk Management: Strong understanding of cloud security risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g. HIPAA, PCI-DSS, GDPR).
  • Experience with Cloud Security Monitoring Tools: Experience with cloud security monitoring and incident response tools (e.g. CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
  • Certifications in Cloud Security: Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty or Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Automation Tools: Experience with cloud security automation tools (e.g. Ansible, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of Containerization: Knowledge of containerization using Docker.
  • Experience with DevOps Tools: Experience with DevOps tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
