About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at SAP. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and managing our data infrastructure. This role involves developing data models, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with various teams to align data initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures that support business needs and drive efficiency.
  • Create and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure optimal data organization and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data architecture solutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architectures, data flows, and data governance processes.
  • Stay updated on emerging data technologies and tools, making recommendations for improvements and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in data management and a strong understanding of both technical and business requirements.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with data architecture frameworks and tools (e.g., data warehouses, ETL tools, cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
