AWS Cloud Engineer

As a highly skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions that drive business efficiency and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and robustness.
  • Develop cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and VPC to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud applications using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Implement security measures and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), VPC security, and data protection to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud resources for cost and performance to drive business efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployment workflows and ensure seamless integration.
  • Conduct cloud cost analysis and optimization to continually improve cloud practices and reduce costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related field with a focus on AWS technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services and features, including but not limited to EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages such as Python and Bash for automation tasks.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnetting, NAT, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD tools, and practices to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of cloud applications.
  • AWS certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve common goals.
