Job Overview

This is a full-time, remote role for a skilled Software Integration Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating software systems, developing software solutions, troubleshooting issues, implementing continuous integration processes, and working with embedded software.

Day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with the product team, ensuring seamless software operations, and enhancing system performance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations with various Property Management Systems (PMS) and third-party platforms.
  • Develop and optimize our integration pipeline, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Understand the nuances of downstream systems and architect scalable integration solutions.
  • Engage with PMS partners to identify and implement new features and updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Continuously improve our backend infrastructure, automate tasks, and set best practices for integrations.
  • Monitor and track the daily status of integrations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in backend web development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and experience working with NestJS or similar backend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming and its various paradigms.
  • Strong understanding of automated testing at every level (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
  • Strong understanding of API development, including RESTful APIs and SOAP XML.
  • Experience working with message queues and understanding of pub-sub architectures in distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with databases and ORM frameworks for efficient data management.
  • Proficiency with Git and development tools such as Visual Studio Code (or any preferred IDE).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to test and validate code before deployment.
  • Experience with integrating third-party systems and optimizing data flow between platforms.
