At Turing, we're seeking talented researchers to contribute to fine-tuning and evaluating large language models (LLMs) in mathematics. This is a unique chance to impact the future of LLM performance in STEM fields.

• Determine the number of real symmetric matrices with specific properties.
• Analyze the existence of subsets with particular characteristics.
• Examine distinct 10-digit numbers with specific properties.

These tasks aim to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.

• Academic Background: A strong foundation in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: The ability to solve complex math problems with clear reasoning.
• Communication Skills: Clarity in explaining technical topics and providing feedback.
• Research Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote research environment.
• Technical Setup: Access to a reliable computer and internet setup.

• Collaborate with a global network of experts shaping next-generation AI benchmarks.
• Gain exposure to cutting-edge model evaluation strategies in an academic–industry hybrid setting.

• Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week.
• Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer.
