About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on Java development. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and administering J2SE/J2EE application code to support business, functional, and technical requirements. This includes analyzing new requirements, supporting business analysts in specifying them, and ensuring that overall designs are consistent with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

This is a senior-level position that requires active participation in the design of components, ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and maintainable. The developer will also be responsible for integrating solutions successfully into the overall solution and the LSL environment. Additionally, they will analyze application issues, neutralize their impacts, and provide 3rd level support for the application.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned Java Developer with at least 8 years of experience in the IT support industry, preferably in the financial industry. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Core Java, Object-oriented principles, and SOLID principles. They should also have experience working within an agile environment, using modern engineering practices, and unit testing.

Preferred Skills

The successful candidate should have experience with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as exposure to modern build tools such as Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, etc. They should also be familiar with Rest and SOAP in microservices-based applications, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, Domain Driven Design, and Microservices architecture. Experience with Java frameworks Spring Boot, Camel, Apache POI, and good knowledge of SQL and relational databases are also required.

Salary: ₹25 lakhs per annum
