Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equity Research Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing onshore support to sell-side research analysts, collecting and analyzing financial data, building and maintaining financial models, and conducting industry research.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing onshore support to sell-side research analysts
  • Collecting and analyzing financial data from online sources, such as Bloomberg, as well as offline sources
  • Building and maintaining financial models of companies under coverage
  • Conducting industry research and maintaining industry models
  • Calculating company valuations by using methods such as DCF, DDM, and EVA, as well as trading and transaction multiples
  • Preparing company profiles, earnings notes, quarterly updates, initiation-of-coverage reports, sector reports, newsletters, technology primers, flash notes, and theme-based reports, among others
  • Summarizing earnings conference calls
  • Managing ad hoc research requests from clients
Requirements
  • About 2 to 6 years of experience in equity research, preferably in technology, semiconductor, or tech hardware sectors
  • CA or MBA (Finance); CFA would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of databases, such as Bloomberg and Reuters, and other financial data systems
  • Knowledge of macroeconomic aggregates and regression analysis
  • Strong accounting and finance skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Ability to implement new working styles
  • Ability to identify proactive ways of contributing to the company's goals and mission
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
