We're seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of our scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Node.js (NestJS) and TypeScript.
  • Create and integrate GraphQL APIs and multiple system integrations.
  • Architect, optimize, and scale backend systems on Azure Container Apps.
  • Implement Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Work on both monolithic and microservices-based architectures.
  • Develop event-driven, real-time systems with WebSocket connections.
  • Maintain 90-95% unit test coverage for all code developed.
Requirements:
  • 8-10 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js (NestJS framework preferred).
  • Proficiency in TypeScript with a focus on scalable architecture.
  • Hands-on experience in GraphQL API design, implementation, and integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and Azure cloud (Container Apps, scaling, performance tuning).
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI integrations and OCR pipelines.
  • Proven background in monolithic and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with event-driven systems, real-time processing, and WebSockets.
  • Ability to deliver maintainable code with 90-95% unit test coverage.
