Job Description:

Lead a Multidisciplinary Team

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Subtitling Coordination team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to the highest standard.

Your primary focus will be on leading and supervising Localization Coordinators, as well as collaborating with the Translator Support team to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.

You will also be responsible for identifying and addressing conflicts, facilitating discussions, and finding solutions that benefit all parties involved.

In addition, you will oversee the team's morale, attrition, development, coaching, and working with team members to communicate their performance, feedback, and development areas.

You will drive HR processes and policies within the team, support managers as needed, and be responsible for the team's productivity, volume management, leave planning, business continuity, and succession planning.

Frequent Communication: You will need to communicate regularly with management regarding project status and any issues that may impact client deadlines.

Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between the team and Assistant Managers/Managers, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination.

Performance Tracking: Generate reports on the team's performance, track KPIs and SLAs, work with the Assistant Manager to correct issues or negative trends, and ensure internal reports (e.g., Productivity, Quality, OTD etc.).

Flexibility: Be flexible and proactively help as required in any area of need.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A graduate degree is required.
  • An excellent command of the English language is essential.
  • Good time management skills and excellent problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • A keen interest in the media industry is preferred.
