Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy:
    • Develop, oversee, and enforce strategic financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and business case development.

  • Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze complex financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Evaluate financial performance against targets and provide detailed variance analysis.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries and communications.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Experience:
      • CA qualification is mandatory.
      • 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
      • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
