Job Title: Middleware Expert

We are seeking an experienced Middleware Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WebLogic infrastructure, application deployment, and performance tuning.

  • Patching and upgrading of WebLogic infrastructure is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Deployment and un-deployment of applications requires meticulous planning and execution.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and heap size configuration is essential for ensuring optimal system performance.
  • Administration and configuration of web servers like Apache, OHS, IHS, and Nginx are also critical tasks.
  • TLS/SSL implementation is a must-have skill for this role.
  • Implementation of best practices and standards ensures that our systems are secure and efficient.
  • Configuring monitoring tools/scripts related to application server and web server health check, profiling, memory usage, and concurrency is a crucial aspect of this job.
  • Build pro-active alerts to avoid downtimes and ensure high system availability.
  • Candidate should have experience in capacity planning and sizing.
  • Change Management - Review proposed changes and implement them in pre-production and production environments.
  • Responding to and acting on client issues/requests and recognition of client priorities is essential.
  • Outage scenario handling, escalations, and root cause analysis, on-call support are also part of this role.
  • Candidate should be part of the client's monthly review meeting and technical presentations.

Education, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Engineering or technical degrees (BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA) are mandatory.
  • Candidate should have overall 4+ years of experience out of which at least 2 years should be relevant industry experience.
  • Candidate should have excellent experience in troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge on WLST scripting is a must.
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience on OHS.
  • Candidate should have ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, excellent communication skills for working effectively with other team members and user groups; problem-solving ability.
