Job Summary

Our team seeks a highly skilled Senior Data Architect to design and build robust data platforms that support business analytics.

  • Develop complex data pipelines for batch and real-time event-based processing, utilizing advanced technologies such as Apache Spark with Scala or Python.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using modern big data processing solutions.
  • Build and maintain large-scale data warehouses in Amazon Redshift or similar cloud-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven decision-making strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining highly available data platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms for building data engineering solutions.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in modern scripting languages, such as Python, with experience in deploying scalable data pipelines.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB, with a focus on high-performance data storage and retrieval.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or Certified Data Engineer, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Amazon Redshift or Google BigQuery, with a focus on data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques, with experience in integrating predictive analytics into data-driven decision-making strategies.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, with a focus on creating interactive and dynamic dashboards.
