The role of a Business Analyst in the Banking sector is to act as a liaison between business and technology teams. They identify business needs, develop solutions, and implement changes to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Develop functional specification designs
- Provide business partner application support
- Leverage tools to draw process flow diagrams
- Collaborate with stakeholders across programs and tech partners
- Review project timelines, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Implement change smoothly
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Primary Skills: 2-3 years of experience working as a Business Analyst/techno-functional Consultant in Banking domain areas
- Core Banking
- Cards & Payments
- Capital Markets
- Risk & Compliance
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
