Job Title: Abinitio Developer

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in Ab Initio development to join our team. As an Abinitio Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) solutions using the Ab Initio tool suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ETL jobs for automation, monitoring, and performance optimization using ETL development tools or custom procedures.
  • Implement design decisions using design patterns and plans in Ab Initio and create Unix wrapper scripts to handle complex transformation logic.
  • Develop ETL jobs for data warehouse environments and ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Ab Initio ETL development and production support.
  • Multifaceted experience in various phases of solution life cycle, including requirement gathering, estimation, ETL design, development, reviews, UAT testing, migration, and production go-live implementation.
  • Strong proficiency in Shell scripting and Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
  • Experience working in an agile project development lifecycle.
