Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team. A Medical Transcriptionist plays a vital role in the healthcare industry by converting voice recordings into accurate, written medical reports and documents.

  • Transcribe Medical Dictations: Listen to audio instructions of medical notes, consultations, discharge summaries, operative reports, etc., and type them into clear, accurate reports.
  • Edit & Proofread: Review and correct grammar, spelling, and medical terminology errors in the transcribed reports.
  • Understand Medical Terminology: Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessments.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Handle patient records with strict confidentiality as per healthcare data protection guidelines.
  • Utilize Technology: Work with transcription software, speech recognition tools, and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Format Reports: Ensure documents meet hospital/clinic formatting and style requirements.
  • Collaborate: Communicate with doctors or healthcare providers for clarification when needed.
  • Meet Deadlines: Produce error-free reports within strict deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Strong Listening Skills: Pay close attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Medical Terminology: Familiarize yourself with medical abbreviations and terminology.
  • Fast and Accurate Typing: Type quickly and accurately.
  • Good Grammar and Editing: Possess good grammar, punctuation, and editing skills.
  • Healthcare Documentation Standards: Understand and apply healthcare documentation standards.
  • Medical Transcription Software and EHR Systems: Familiarize yourself with medical transcription software and EHR systems.
  • Independence and Concentration: Work independently with high concentration levels.

Qualifications:

Any Graduate: Preferably any graduate degree.

Specialized Medical Transcription Training/Certification: Highly preferred but not mandatory.
