Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled engineer with hands-on experience in PLC/DCS test systems, including manual and automated testing, and scripting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Foxboro/Honeywell/ABB/Yokogawa DCS and/or Triconex/HIMA/FSC/Modicon PLC systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting functional/system testing that includes Factory Acceptance Tests/Site Acceptance Tests, Installation and Commissioning of PLC/DCS Systems
  • Verifying and validating multi-processor real-time embedded or high integrity systems, and communication protocols, i.e. Serial IO, Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC etc for safety-critical systems
  • Applying formal development methodologies, i.e. configuration management, requirements traceability, formal or semi-formal methods; unit, functional and system testing
  • Developing and executing test procedures, recording test results, preparing test reports
  • Assisting in the maintenance of project and / or organizational processes and work procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hands-on experience in PLC/DCS test systems
  • Expertise in Foxboro/Honeywell/ABB/Yokogawa DCS and/or Triconex/HIMA/FSC/Modicon PLC systems
  • Experience in control/safety systems functional/system testing
  • Exposure to verification and / or validation of multi-processor real-time embedded or high integrity systems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • CSQA / CSQE / CRP certification is a plus
