Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced VFX Supervisor to join our team and share their expertise in Houdini software training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and mentoring, with the ability to provide effective and efficient training to in-house VFX artists.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training on RBD Fracture Simulation, Cloth Simulation, Water Simulation, Fire Simulation, Crowd Simulation, Grain Simulation, and Plant Instance Simulation.

In addition, the candidate will be expected to teach the right way to create a convincing look for clients and provide solutions for integration from Houdini to Autodesk Maya and Blender or vice versa.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a VFX Supervisor for film, animation, or TV series
  • Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and understanding of the production process
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Houdini
  • In-depth knowledge of compositing principles (Nuke preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of the Blender workflow is a plus
  • Solid understanding of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering techniques in Maya or Houdini
  • Knowledge of the overall VFX workflow and understanding of the production process
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Artistic skills with a high attention to detail
  • Enthusiasm and creativity
  • Proficiency in the English language
