We're seeking a skilled Mobile Game Artist to create engaging 2D characters, backgrounds, and props for mobile gaming platforms.

As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for designing and illustrating high-quality visual assets that meet technical guidelines and file specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design visually appealing 2D characters tailored for mobile gaming platforms
  • Create stunning 2D backgrounds, props, clothing, and additional game art assets
  • Develop and maintain a structured production pipeline to ensure timely and efficient creation of production-ready art
  • Export and assemble final assets from source files following technical guidelines and file specifications
  • Stay up-to-date with new tools, techniques, and artistic workflows
  • Maintain consistency by matching existing art styles and accurately identifying differences across visual styles
  • Test assets in Unity to ensure seamless in-game performance
  • Play games to assess aesthetics, user experience, and gameplay flow
  • Offer clear feedback on visual and gameplay enhancements based on playtesting
  • Ensure visual consistency by matching established styles and identifying deviations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in the gaming or animation industry, with a strong focus on mobile game development
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop with advanced 2D character illustration skills
  • Experienced in creating 2D characters, backgrounds, props, clothing, and other visual assets for mobile games
  • Able to follow and contribute to a structured production pipeline, ensuring efficient and technically accurate asset delivery
  • Skilled in exporting and assembling images from art files according to defined technical parameters and protocols
  • Quick to learn and apply new technical skills, tools, and workflows
  • Strong aesthetic sense with a solid foundation in graphic design principles
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining thorough working habits
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced production environments and meeting tight deadlines
  • Passionate about mobile gaming—with hands-on experience in designing and producing art specifically for mobile game titles
  • Capable of matching a wide range of art styles and visually distinguishing between them for consistent and cohesive asset creation
