Excel Data Migration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead data migration projects by extracting, transforming, and loading data from legacy systems to new platforms, including financial and accounting datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Excel for data analysis and transformation, with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA macros. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills are also required, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data migration projects and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with business and accounting rules after migration.
  • Develop and execute QA test plans to validate data migration processes.
  • Communicate testing results and recommendations effectively to stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with team members to define and implement migration strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA macros).
  • Solid background in QA testing, including writing test cases, performing functional testing, and data validation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong mathematical skills for data calculations and validation.
  • Experience with data migration tools and processes is a plus.
