Primary Homeroom Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Homeroom Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering transdisciplinary lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework, and possess excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

As a Primary Homeroom Teacher, you will have the opportunity to guide inquiry-based learning, facilitate Units of Inquiry across multiple subjects, and create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
  • Guide inquiry-based learning and facilitate Units of Inquiry across multiple subjects
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learners and learning styles
  • Regularly assess and document student learning using formative and summative strategies
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent
  • Teaching certification/license
  • 2+ years of experience in early/primary education
  • Familiarity with the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based learning
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IB-certified PYP training/workshops completed
  • Experience teaching in an IB or international school environment
