Forensic Investigation Specialist

Your Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work in forensic investigations, ensuring timely closure of cases and maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding and implementing forensic imaging processes for devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobiles.
  • Validation and analysis of findings in investigative matters to develop fact-based technical conclusions.
  • Coordination with lead investigators to ascertain the relevance of information derived from both internal and external sources related to digital forensic inquiries.
  • Maintain and update internal databases with findings and progress on investigations.
  • Ensure timely closure of forensic investigations and reporting as per defined timelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following: ESI data investigation, forensic tools, and methodologies including log correlation and analysis, forensically handling electronic data, and knowledge of the computer security investigative processes.
  • Certifications in related professional areas such as Security+, EnCE, CHFI, and ISO 27001.
