The Role

As a key member of the Project Engineering team, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of project delivery for SCADA/EMS/GMS/ADMS projects using OSI's monarch platform for customers across India, SEA, MENA, and other geographies. You will design, plan, integrate, test, train, and commission hardware and software requirements on a customer system based on project specifications.

Your Impact

  • Assess technical specification requirements for projects, evaluate risks, and identify mitigation plans.
  • Understand project requirements through interactions with customers and internal stakeholders, delegating tasks within and across teams as necessary.
  • Design, plan, integrate, test, and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.
  • Prepare project documentation, including functional design and test procedures.
  • Perform hardware, software, and system installation, integration, and factory functional testing for SCADA, web platform, high-speed historian, and other related functionalities.
  • Document and track progress of project activities and report any technical issues.
  • Provide subject-matter expert support to the Solutions/Proposals team to bring out the competitive advantage of OSI in tenders.
  • Develop working relationships with global offices of OSI, Aspentech, and Emerson to deliver projects globally.

What You'll Need

  • 8+ years of experience, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in managing a team of 3+ members.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or other relevant engineering disciplines.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, database creation, configuration of web platforms, knowledge of enterprise historians, testing, and commissioning.
  • Knowledge of SCADA software package configuration, SQL databases, ODBC, and report generation.
  • Understanding of utility use-cases (electricity, gas, water, renewables).
  • Flexibility to travel to domestic and international customer sites (expect 20% travel).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising quality of project delivery.
