Our job requires an expert in pharmacovigilance to own the end-to-end architecture of modern Safety/Pharmacovigilance Data Platforms. The ideal candidate will ingests data from several clinical and non-clinical systems and transforms it into insights for internal and external users using a scalable big data pipeline on GCP.

This role involves:

  • Designing and developing flexible, scalable, and resilient data processing pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies, serverless architectures, containers, and Data Fabric.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
  • Writing clear, detailed, concise documentation – architecture diagrams, reference architecture, data flows, data models, design, and implementation plans.
  • Improving API infrastructure connecting front-end web portals to back-end processing engines.
  • Leveraging the latest innovations in data science and client footprint improvement.
  • Partnering with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security posture and create DR plans.
  • Developing complex scripts using Iron Python, JS, HTML, CSS, and basic functions in Python and R Scripts.
  • Having a thorough understanding of GCP services for data, analytics, and AI such as BigQuery, Apache Kafka, Vertex AI, Auto Client, and Gemini.
