Job Opportunity:

MSBI Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled MSBI Developer to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a talented professional with expertise in Microsoft Business Intelligence tools, including SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Develop complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Utilize SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to create and deliver insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or other relevant Azure services to build and manage cloud-based data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize performance of existing ETL processes and reports.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 6-9 years of experience as an MSBI Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in MSBI tools, including SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing ETL solutions with SSIS.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including advanced SQL querying, stored procedures, and database optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or other Azure data services for cloud-based data integration.
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Kimball methodology, star/snowflake schemas).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization.
  • Knowledge of other Azure data services like Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Familiarity with C# or Python for scripting within SSIS or Azure.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Data Engineer Associate).
