Australian Accounting Associate is a dynamic role that requires an individual with strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Junior Taxation and Bookkeeping Associate.

  • We are looking for an experienced professional to assist in delivering high-quality services to our clients, particularly in the Australian market.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in preparation and filing of tax returns for individual and business clients in compliance with Australian taxation laws.
  • Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions for clients, including bookkeeping and reconciliation tasks.
  • Assisting in preparing financial statements and reports for clients.
  • Helping in GST and BAS preparation and lodgement.
  • Ensuring compliance with all Australian tax regulations and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Skills: Knowledge of Australian tax systems and bookkeeping practices.
  • Experience: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
  • Personal Qualities: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internship or Prior Experience: Internship or prior experience in Australian taxation or bookkeeping (desirable but not mandatory).
  • BAS and GST Reporting Requirements: Understanding of BAS and GST reporting requirements.
