Job Description

The Technical Service Manager serves as a key bridge between market requirements and internal functions, encompassing R&D, production, and regulatory affairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical services and formulation support for targeted segments by developing and adapting formulations for local market needs.
  • Conduct technical training for customers, distributors, and internal teams to equip them with necessary knowledge for success.
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend strategies to drive customer solutions and support sales efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal standards while managing lab operations efficiently and upholding EHS and ISO requirements.
  • Support customer complaint resolution and application troubleshooting while maintaining lab equipment and calibrating instruments.
  • Participate in field trials and on-site customer visits as needed to provide prompt, practical solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  • MSc or Bachelor of Engineering or Master's of Engineering in Chemistry preferred, with at least 8 years of formulation experience in Polymer dispersions/coatings and 2 years in a supervisory/people leadership role.
  • A sound understanding of polymer science and standard test methods is essential, along with strong customer focus and ability to provide deep knowledge of core markets, competitors, and emulsion polymer technology.
