Immersive Experience Designer

Role Overview

The Immersive Experience Designer will be responsible for implementing user interface designs in Unity for PC, mobile, and AR/VR platforms. You will work with designers, engineers, and 3D artists to ensure visually stunning and responsive user experiences. This includes creating micro animations, building custom shaders, and optimizing particle systems to elevate the UI and interaction quality across various platforms.

  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to implement UI features such as 2D and 3D layouts, menu logical flows, animations and more in Unity.
  • Optimize UI for performance, ensuring seamless user experiences.
  • Create and manage micro animations in Unity.
  • Build custom shaders and optimize particle systems in Unity.
  • Work with 3D assets, including creation, texturing, and rigging.
  • Collaborate with designers to build UX prototypes in Unity.
  • Write basic C# scripts to integrate UI elements with the overall system.
  • Build and maintain a prefab library.
Requirements:
  • 4 to 5 years of work experience as an immersive experience designer.
  • A portfolio of example projects.
  • Strong experience with Unity, especially in UI implementation.
  • Proficiency in creating custom shaders and working with particle systems.
  • Experience with lighting and rendering in Unity.
  • Knowledge of tweening and micro animations in Unity.
  • Basic C# programming skills.
  • Familiarity with UX prototyping and design principles.
  • Basic Photoshop, Illustrator and Maya/Blender skills.
  • Good visual sense along with technical competencies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable Requirements:
  • Experience with 3D asset creation, texturing, and rigging.
  • Html/CSS experience.
  • Previous AR/VR work experience.
