About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Communication Training Manager to join our team at Wipro. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has expertise in training and development, particularly in communication skills.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, delivering, and certifying trainers on learning principles, facilitation skills, and coaching skills. They will also be required to conduct new hire communication training, provide feedback and coaching to agents on communication and spoken English, and audit transactions for agents on the floor.

Responsibilities

  1. Plan, design, develop, deliver, and certify trainers on learning principles, facilitation skills, and coaching skills.
  2. Conduct new hire communication training classes.
  3. Provide feedback and coaching to agents on communication and spoken English.
  4. Audit transactions for agents on the floor.
  5. Give documented feedback as per the gaps identified in the audit.
  6. Attend weekly calibration calls with clients or internal stakeholders.
  7. Conduct training sessions as per requirement under specified timelines.
  8. Complete certification process.
  9. Perform performance assessment of trainees during tests.
  10. Manage databases, daily reports, and analysis.
  11. Travel to Wipro locations, intra-city or inter-city, to train on communication skills, softs, and do communication coaching.
  12. Create training content.
  13. Play the role of Knowledge Manager (complete governance on Knowledge Management).
  14. Collaborate with LOBs and cross-functional project teams to identify training needs.
  15. Conduct needs assessments to identify and evaluate training needs, develop training and instructional solutions, and assess training.
  16. Provide consulting services in all aspects related to training for organization-wide initiatives and projects.
  17. Design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Good knowledge of grammar and pronunciation.
  • Culture - US and/or UK.
  • Must have a good understanding of functional Grammar and MTI.
  • Should be acquainted with the communication nuances of the local audience possible kinds of errors that one would expect in the location.
  • Feedback and Coaching skills.
  • Good rapport building skills, extremely methodical and organized.
  • Good analytical ability.
  • Good reading/learning, researching Skills.
  • Applicant should be proficient with MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, particularly as used in the development of instructional content and analytics for designing training solutions.
  • Ability to interpret educational needs and develop effective instructional design and media solutions.
  • Extensive working knowledge in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training plans, curricula, and methodology.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
  • Advanced analytical, business acumen, and critical thinking skills.
  • Project management and presentation skills, and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Previous customer-facing experience.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
