Job Title: Senior Test Management Professional

As a seasoned test management professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of comprehensive test strategies across various projects or upgrades.

  • Manage stakeholders and coordinate communication to ensure seamless collaboration between teams.
  • Provide guidance and direction on test activities to project managers to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • Ensure all test artefacts are effectively managed within designated tools for test preparation, execution, and defect management.
  • Guarantee traceability from business requirements to executed test scenarios to maintain high-quality results.
  • Lead a team of testers to create and deliver test cases in designated tools.
  • Monitor and track test progress for test preparation and execution to identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilize designated Test Management tools for creation of test plans/packages and assignment of test cases.
  • Effectively manage defects throughout the release cycle.
Additional Responsibilities:

Additionally, you will provide support to other test managers by:

  • Creating test plans/packages in designated tools.
  • Assigning test cases to relevant stakeholders.
  • Managing SharePoint updates, including web pages, folders, and documentation.
  • Preparing reports on test and defect status using Power BI.
  • Handing over defects to incident management tools.
  • Monitoring requests via test management portals.
  • Managing shared email inboxes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of release testing lifecycle, test case creation, and repository management.
  • Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager (SXP Test Suite), Worksoft Certify, PowerBI, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP BTP, Signavio Integration, and Jira.
  • Ability to plan testing milestones and activities aligning with release calendars and stage gate checks.
  • Effective change document handling, coordinating with stakeholders at different testing phases.
  • Collaboration with IS-Testing during testing enablement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with central and regional test management teams, DevOps, and release teams.
  • Preparation and provision of regular updates on test progress/status into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Escalation and decision-making capabilities, knowing when and how to escalate issues/risk and make informed decisions independently.
  • Presentation and training skills to educate stakeholders at different testing phases.
  • Defect analysis and collaboration with DevOps throughout the release cycle.
  • Risk mitigation planning to identify potential blockers and plan contingencies with stakeholders.
