Senior Java Developer for Scalable Microservices Architecture

At Lucid Technologies, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in leading the design, development, and maintenance of robust Java applications using Spring Boot framework.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of core Java concepts, including OOP, collections, and concurrency. Proficiency in Spring Boot framework for building microservices and REST APIs is a must. Additionally, expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using HTTP methods and JSON is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust Java applications using Spring Boot framework.
- Build RESTful APIs for efficient data exchange and integration with other systems.
- Develop microservices architecture for scalable and modular applications.
- Apply strong Java fundamentals and best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms, including RBAC, to safeguard sensitive data.
- Work closely with database teams to design and optimize data structures and queries.
- Leverage React JS and Node JS (preferred) for frontend development.
- Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of core Java concepts, including OOP, collections, and concurrency.
- Proficiency in Spring Boot framework for building microservices and REST APIs.
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs using HTTP methods and JSON.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture, including patterns and best practices.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, and RBAC.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
- Familiarity with common design patterns and their application in Java development.
- Understanding and application of SOLID principles for code quality and maintainability.
- Knowledge of REST architectural constraints for building well-structured APIs.
- Understanding of HTTP protocol and the role of HTTPS in securing communication.
- Ability to differentiate between abstract classes and interfaces and use them effectively.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with React JS and Node JS for frontend development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
