Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and help architect, build, and scale the backend of our platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on a next-generation creative SaaS platform that enables marketers, designers, and developers to create engaging ad experiences at scale.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable REST/GraphQL APIs for our frontend editor and client apps. They will also be tasked with architecting and managing multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure with secure authentication, billing, and user/project management.

In addition, they will implement asset management pipelines (upload, process, store, deliver images, videos, HTML5 bundles) with CDN integration. The ideal candidate will also set up role-based access control (RBAC) and permissions for teams/agencies using the platform.

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js / TypeScript (or Python/Go), SaaS product architecture, authentication, multi-tenant databases, subscription models, SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, API security, scalability, performance optimization, file uploads, storage systems, CDN integration, DevOps practices, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, payment integrations, and analytics pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong Proficiency in Programming Languages: Node.js / TypeScript (or Python/Go)
  • SaaS Product Architecture: Authentication, Multi-Tenant Databases, Subscription Models
  • Databases: SQL/NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.)
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS/GCP/Azure
  • CICD Pipelines: Jenkins/GitLabCI/Microsoft Azure Pipelines
  • API Security: Strong knowledge of API security, scalability, and performance optimization
  • File Uploads & Storage: Hands-on experience with file uploads, storage systems (S3/GCS), CDN integration
  • DevOps Practices: Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging
  • Payment Integrations: Stripe, PayPal, etc.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience building creative SaaS tools (design platforms, editors, adtech, game engines)
  • Real-time Collaboration: Knowledge of WebSockets for real-time collaboration
  • Serverless Architecture: Experience with serverless architecture (Lambda/Cloud Functions)
  • Analytics Pipelines: Familiarity with analytics pipelines for tracking engagement, conversion, and ad performance
