Internship Opportunity: Emerging Leaders in Technology and Policy

The Emerging Leaders Internship is a premier program that fosters the development of future leaders at the intersection of technology, politics, and public policy.

This internship is designed for bright, motivated engineering students who are passionate about applying their technical skills to address real-world challenges in politics and social welfare.

As an intern, you will join our Technical Transformation Team and contribute to key functions, including Campaigns, Political Intelligence, and Research.

This is not just an internship; it's a comprehensive training ground and a direct pipeline to a full-time career in political consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage in a rigorous 2-month training program that bridges the gap between engineering and politics.
  2. Participate in intensive workshops on advanced Python, JavaScript, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and operational security best practices.
  3. Attend seminars on the current political landscape, campaign structures, legislative processes, and data ethics in policy.
  4. Analyse relevant public datasets (e.g., election data, legislative records) to identify trends and produce actionable insights.
  5. Develop a Capstone Project, such as creating an analytical dashboard to visualize complex data for non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Translate complex technical findings into clear, concise policy memos and presentations.
  7. Collaborate with and shadow full-time team members, contributing directly to ongoing, high-impact projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are currently in your 6th semester or later of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field; or you are a recent graduate.
  • You have a strong, demonstrable interest in Indian politics and public policy.
  • You possess foundational technical knowledge and strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • You are a proactive problem-solver, eager to learn and operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
