Cloud Infrastructure Expert

As a Cloud System Admin, you will oversee the strategic direction of cloud infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with Office 365 applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Management:
    • Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services to optimize resource utilization and costs.
    • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related identity management solutions to enhance security and compliance.
  • Office 365 Administration:
    • Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive, ensuring efficient user experience and minimizing disruptions.
    • Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365 to guarantee compliance and security while streamlining business processes.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Implement robust security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls to safeguard sensitive information and prevent potential threats.
    • Monitor for potential security risks and take proactive measures to resolve vulnerabilities and ensure continuous improvement.
  • Automation & Optimization:
    • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) to automate cloud and Office 365 administration tasks, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing manual errors.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation to boost productivity and streamline business operations.
  • Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
    • Design and maintain comprehensive backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
    • Regularly test and update recovery strategies to guarantee data integrity and availability.
  • Documentation & Training:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
    • Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices to promote expertise and consistency across the team.
