Job Role Overview

The Global Regulatory Intelligence Manager plays a pivotal role in gathering and analyzing regulatory data to drive business decisions.

This position is responsible for:

  • Monitoring and analyzing the global regulatory landscape, and developing intelligence reports as directed.
  • Collecting and synthesizing new or updated local regulatory requirements for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Executing regulatory intelligence workplans by preparing agreed deliverables, such as monitoring reports and bulletins.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating and maintaining tools, databases, and documentation that support intelligence gathering and dissemination.
  • Ensuring that repositories of regulatory requirements and intelligence reports are up-to-date and accessible to stakeholders.
  • Building or modifying new tools and databases as needed.

Working Relationships:

  • Collaborating with members of the Regulatory Policy & Intelligence team and regulatory staff in various functions to ensure effective application of intelligence.
  • Engaging with policy analysts, product regulatory leads, and other cross-functional team members to share findings and gather input.

Performance Metrics:

  • Tracking progress of intelligence-gathering activities against team objectives and timelines.
  • Regularly reporting status to the RI Director.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong grounding in regulatory affairs processes and requirements.
  • Ability to interpret regulatory documents and extract key points.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills, including comparing regulatory requirements and spotting differences or trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in using information systems and databases.
  • Good project coordination skills, capable of managing workstreams, meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple intelligence requests or projects.
