Seeking a seasoned Scrap Metal Trader to manage the procurement, processing, and distribution of metal commodities.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a proven track record of sourcing, negotiating, and closing deals. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing: Identify and acquire scrap metal from various suppliers, including industrial manufacturers, demolition companies, and recycling facilities.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms and pricing with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales: Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory changes affecting the scrap metal industry to inform decision-making and strategy.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the transportation and logistics of scrap metal shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards governing the scrap metal trading industry.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in scrap metal trading, with a strong network of industry contacts.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
