Job Summary

Information Security Analyst - Threat Detection Specialist

This is a vital role that ensures the safeguarding of digital assets and maintaining robust security posture. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, identifying and responding to potential security threats in real-time.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement threat detection strategies across multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Analyze logs from various sources, identify patterns and trends to anticipate potential security breaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop incident response plans and implement them when necessary.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to enhance overall security maturity.
  • Liaise with technical stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and ensure seamless integration of security tools.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Security Monitoring specialist with expertise in log analysis.
  • Knowledge of SIEM tools such as ELK, Wazuh, Splunk and ArcSight.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
