Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Advisory professional to play a key role in shaping next-gen SAP landscapes on the RISE platform.

This customer-facing role involves supporting sales teams during the entire cycle of a RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. The following are the essential tasks for this position:

  • Presentation of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition service offerings and value proposition to customers (usually CIOs, IT managers, datacenter managers, and SAP Technology staff)
  • Support and organization of technical responses to RFP / RFI's
  • Blueprint customer requirements around HA/DR, Business Continuity, Security & Compliance, networks, etc.
  • Generation of pricing and provision of ongoing deal support to sales teams
  • Ownership of technical discussions with customers on the Private Cloud Edition topic and acting as the orchestrator of experts to obtain expertise from the Cloud Architecture & Advisory organization as required

The candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers on technical topics and work closely with SAP internal teams during the sales cycle. They will perform as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for customers on the S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition topic and its offerings.

Requirements:

Proficiency in customer communications and presentations is required.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Business Administration is required from an accredited university.

A good understanding of SAP technologies (releases, platform interdependencies, etc.)

A good understanding of the entire platform stacks (storage, virtualization, hardware, networks, etc.)

A good understanding of RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition

A good understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform

An English native speaker, any other language an asset

Experience:

7-12 years of hands-on customer-facing SAP Technology Consulting and/or Presales experience (eg, Basis Admin, DB Admin, Migrations, Upgrades, Business Continuity, etc.)

Experience with hosting providers and data centres is a BIG advantage; HANA / Suite on HANA skills would be very helpful, but not mandatory.

Experience working for an enterprise software and/or services vendor is necessary.
