Job Description:

As a Product Line Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee team performance, manage resources, drive project execution, mentor managers, foster innovation, handle stakeholder communication, and deliver high-quality results on time.

Product Ownership:

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps from market and R&D requirements to end-of-life in line with solution expectations.
  • Communicate progress against product roadmaps and keep stakeholders informed of updates through product category reviews.
  • Manage total cost and related competitiveness actions with all involved metrics.
  • Develop recurring, development, and sustaining cost improvement plans (refactoring, M/B re-sourcing, product REX).
  • Establish governance to manage all product data information (catalogue/datasheet/user manual) and key performance features.

Customer Engagement:

  • Work with sales and presales teams to create initial product solution documents, RFP responses, and Bill of Quotations for customer engagements.
  • Coordinate and carry out initial customer engagement as product manager, including proof-of-concepts and pilots of Tejas wireless products.

Go-to-Market Planning:

  • Develop product messaging that resonates with daily challenges and how they address them.
  • Enable the sales team with the right training, tools, and information to close deals.
  • Build and own customer engagement plans, partnering with fellow leaders to create a coherent business plan that prioritizes and customizes a dev engagement mix of social, digital, and one-to-many experiential activities, aligning with corporate strategy and plan.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 7-12 years of experience marketing to developers, with a proven track record of building technical relationships within Telecom Operators and OEMs.
  • A passion for technology and a background working in Wireless communications products and related technologies (minimum 2 years).
  • Demonstrated technical experience across Radio Access Network (RAN), 3G/4G/5G technologies.
  • Deep insight into the Telecom and mobile infrastructure ecosystems and business trends.
  • Experience in Business Development and Wireless customer interactions, including handling of RFP/RFQ processes.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and team-building, decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through.

Desired Skills:

  • Results-driven, with exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Product management competencies/skills & experience, including analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7-12 years of experience from Telecommunication or Networking background.
  • Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE) or any other equivalent degree. Degree in Electronics/Computer Science Engineering and MBA preferred (depending on level).
