Responsibilities:

• Teach piano and western vocal lessons to students of all ages with passion and dedication.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual learning styles and promote musical growth.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical potential.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest music education trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in music or a related field is essential for success in this role.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality music education.
• Trinity College, ABRSM, or relevant Western music certifications are highly valued.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills are necessary for effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility and adaptability are key to succeeding in this fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to teach both adults and children is essential for meeting the diverse needs of our students.
• Proficiency in teaching all music genres is desired, with a willingness to learn and grow alongside our students.
• Familiarity with ABRSM, RSL, or Trinity College grade examinations is beneficial.
• Competency in teaching music theory is critical for developing well-rounded musicians.
• Knowledge of music notation software and DAWs is a plus, but not essential at this time.
