Job Opportunity

We seek a Senior Data Manager to join our data engineering team. This role is based in Mumbai and requires a minimum of three days per week in the office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze digital trading platforms and other systems to optimize them for business use.
  • Understand digital placement data and its interaction with the larger Marsh data ecosystem.
  • Build consolidated views using disparate data sources and placement data to provide insights.
  • Solve business pain points using data and technology, collaborating with business leaders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering discipline.
  • 10-12 years of experience in BI and reporting, with expertise on enterprise-wide reporting systems and built dashboards and reports from scratch.
  • 2-3 years of Team Management experience handling a minimum team size of 2-3 analysts.
  • Problem-solving within the constraints of a corporate IT environment.
  • Ability to think independently and define KPIs that align with business strategy and goals.

Technical Skills
  • Data Engineering and Data transformation skills – SQL or Oracle.
  • Data Visualization – Power BI is required, Tableau or Qlik would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Databricks on Azure and AWS.
  • Ability to optimize data pipelines to perform complex data transformations.
