Job Description:

As a Mechanical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering proof of concept designs for the mechanical architecture of battery packs. You will oversee the design quality of component designs during development, ensuring they meet the required standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ideating and delivering proof of concept designs for the mechanical architecture of the battery pack.
  • Overseeing the design quality of component designs during development.
  • Managing physical and functional interfaces across all components of the battery and between battery and production line.
  • Performing complex tolerance stacks using statistical methods.
  • Ensuring designs are delivered to expectations of Design maturity model and Ather product development systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in Lithium Ion battery design and development

Design of electromechanical components

DFx of electromechanical parts

Battery manufacturing process knowledge

Manufacturing process selection

Awareness of relevant standards for batteries

Key Requirements:

or equivalent with Specialization in Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics/Machine design

7-10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in Lithium ion battery design
