Ophthalmic Theatre Coordinator

Job Summary:

• The Ophthalmic Theatre Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date operating theatre records, ensuring compliance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge of sterilization, fumigation, and Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Clean and maintain surgical instruments, perform equipment checks, and undertake routine upkeep tasks to prevent malfunctions.
• Assist medical professionals during ophthalmic surgical procedures, providing support as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating theatre setting, preferably with a focus on ophthalmic surgery.
