Job Title: Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team.

  • This is a unique opportunity to develop and maintain comprehensive test automation scripts using PHP/Javascript to reduce repetitive manual testing.
Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing the requirements, providing feedback on missing business flows and strategies, certifying user stories, reporting bugs, building and maintaining automated test scripts where creativity and initiative are involved, and a high level of independent judgment is needed.

We value collaboration, operational understanding, and commitment to delivering quality builds within deadlines.

Becoming an agile process facilitator in cross-functional teams is also desired.

Backup team members as needed or when workload fluctuates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of relevant experience.

Agile software development testing experience with at least 5 years.

Manual and automated test planning and scenario creation skills.

2+ years of automated script creation experience using Autify/Selenium WebDriver with JavaScript (or equivalent) and a BDD framework (like Cucumber/Codeception).

Experience testing Front-End (UI/UX) and Back-End (API, Grey-box, Data integrity) for web applications.

1+ year of experience testing web applications in cross-browser and cross-device environments using automated tools.

Agile and/or Kanban methodology knowledge.

API testing experience with manual (using Postman/swagger) & automated (REST Assured/CURL) methods.

Strong CI/CD background with deployment automation knowledge (Jenkins/Docker).

Familiarity with collaborative source-code repository systems (Git/GitHub).

Comfortable with cloud-based service testing (AWS is a plus) and basic environment setup.

Jira or other bug-tracking software experience.

Creative problem-solving, innovation, and independence are valued.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
