Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished performance tester to join our team. As a performance tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Performance Testing: Conduct load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  • APM Tools: Utilize tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, or Prometheus for monitoring application performance.
  • CI/CD Integration: Integrate performance testing with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Web Technologies: Have a solid understanding of web technologies including HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, and WebSockets.
  • Database Performance: Validate database performance using SQL and ensure optimal database configuration.
  • OS-Level Performance Monitoring: Monitor OS-level performance metrics on Linux and Windows platforms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Cloud-Based Performance Testing: Experience with cloud-based performance testing on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  2. Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Shell for automation.
  3. Microservices Architecture: Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
  4. Shift-Left Performance Testing: Understanding of shift-left performance testing practices and early performance feedback.
