Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled candidate to fill this Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer role. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both Android and iOS apps.

This position requires strong expertise in mobile testing, API testing, web testing, and CI/CD integrations to ensure end-to-end quality of our food delivery platform.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS apps using Java-based automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit).
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to Web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs or similar device farms and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage, ensure feature readiness, and troubleshoot defects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API Testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of Web Testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based test environments like Sauce Labs, BrowserStack.
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
