Job Title: Creative Furniture Designer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative furniture designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer preferences and be able to create original design concepts in solid wood.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on customer preferences through past sales data, social media, and international market trends.
  • Develop new and exciting design concepts that align with our export strengths.
  • Use CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino to draft production-ready drawings.
  • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to bring designs to life.
  • Work closely with prototyping teams to refine joinery, finishes, ergonomics, and structural integrity.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in furniture design, preferably in solid wood.
  • Strong skills in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
  • Knowledge of global furniture trends, ergonomics, finishing techniques, and joinery.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into commercially viable designs.
