Job Title: Fixed Assets/Oracle Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Assets/Oracle Consultant to join our team at KPG99 INC. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform functional setup tasks in Oracle Cloud ERP production systems, including creating, editing, and deleting tasks for approved Capital Projects.
  • Review and ensure proper coding for all capital expenditures in accordance with our Capitalization policy.
  • Research project information in Oracle PPM module to confirm correct project code assignment to CAPEX invoices.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable team to research issues related to project coding prior to payment.
  • Review and process capital invoices/purchase orders, including remodels and new store construction, to ensure correct GAAP accounting classification and project coding.
  • Investigate and track rejected CAPEX invoices, capital project coding discrepancies, process gaps, system issues, and resolve them timely.
  • Collaborate with Facilities Management, Development, IT, and others to ensure proper coding and classifications for capital expenditures to prevent recurrence.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to all support center and field employees while ensuring all policies are adhered to.
  • Prepare assigned fixed asset related journal entries and account reconciliations of asset activity between the Fixed Assets/Projects sub-ledger and the General Ledger and asset roll-forwards.
  • Assist with Project Accounting (PA) and Fixed Assets (FA) month-end closing, including processing the PA and FA sub-ledger systems.
Requirements:
  • Multi-unit retail accounting experience preferred.
  • Prior accounting experience with Accounts Payable processes and CAPEX Project accounting.
  • System knowledge: Oracle cloud (AP, PPM, GL modules).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of ability to interpret and analyze data and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to plan work effectively, to meet deadlines assigned, and to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to multi-task and shift priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word.
  • QSR accounting experience preferred.
