Overview

We are seeking a Big Data Engineering expert to join our team. As an Associate Staff Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Big Data tools and frameworks such as PySpark, Databricks, and Hive.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it meets the required standards for performance, security, and reliability.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues through systematic analysis and root cause investigation.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate design decisions and technology choices.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Big Data Engineering.
  • Strong working knowledge of Python, Pyspark, Databricks, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
  • Background in big data tools and frameworks such as Hive, Kafka, or Airflow.
