Signal Processing Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Signal Processing Systems Engineer to develop advanced algorithms utilizing techniques in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining performance requirements, designing, testing, verification, and validation of signal processing algorithms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, verify, and test signal processing algorithms using techniques in Detection & Estimation Theory, Random Processes Analysis, and Communications and Information Theory
  • Design and simulation of end-to-end systems from the ground up to meet required performance specifications
  • Data analysis and verification of algorithms against real-world data
  • MATLAB simulations and fixed-point implementations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Digital Signal Processing or digital communications theory
  • 3-10 years of experience in implementing DSP algorithms
  • Solid fundamentals in mathematics, digital signal processing, and communication systems
  • Experience in designing, choosing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for RADAR or other relevant sensors
  • Expert in MATLAB and C/C++ and experience in other languages (e.g., Python)
  • Eager to learn and implement new algorithms in groundbreaking technology

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Background with Radar or LiDAR Signal Processing (FMCW)
  • Expertise in Radar link budgets, analysis of Minimum Detectable Signal, Signal-to-Noise, and Signal-to-Clutter
  • Experience developing DSP algorithms on FPGAs
