Job Description:

The Associate Manager is responsible for the successful execution of IT service projects, overseeing project-based teams, and fostering a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities include leading and overseeing the delivery of IT service projects, defining project objectives, tracking and reporting project progress, ensuring contractual SLA obligations are met, and acting as the primary liaison for customers on project-related issues.

Additionally, the Associate Manager must monitor service delivery metrics, assign, manage, and oversee project-specific team resources, and identify training needs to enhance team skills and capabilities.

Risk and Issue Management involves maintaining a risk register for projects, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks, and facilitating rapid escalation and resolution for critical project issues.

The role also requires effective communication and relationship-building with clients and teams, strategic allocation and management of resources to ensure efficiency, and proactive identification and resolution of risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, or Agile certifications are required.
  • Experience:
  1. Greater than 8 Years in Service delivery in EUC, Networking and similar role in IT Managed services.
  2. Proven experience in managing projectized environments, IT service delivery, and people management.
  3. Demonstrated success in leading and developing diverse teams.

Key Competencies: Ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams, stakeholder management, resource optimization, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, customer focus, attention to detail, process orientation, analytical & reporting skills, knowledge of ITIL framework and ISO standards.

Benefits:

Responsibility for managing account(s) with a revenue size of minimum $1 million, dedicated to leading project-based teams across multiple projects concurrently, occasional travel to customer or project sites may be required, flexibility to work outside regular hours to meet project milestones or address critical issues.
